Wow, what a great show on Netflix! Not a bad actor in the cast, and the situations are not so typically over the top that I roll my eyes and think, Really? I have never seen Alexandra Breckinridge and Martin Henderson before - they are fantastic! The scenery is stunning & I would love to travel to that part of Canada, but being a Southern Lady from Georgia, I would not stay long - I would freeze! Anyway, it gets harder and harder to find a movie or series these days that isn’t so gratuitously violent and full of extremely foul language and embarrassing-to-watch sex scenes, that I wonder if 14-year-old immature boys are writing, directing, and casting such shows. Ugh. I want to be entertained, not insulted and disturbed. Virgin River is such a fresh break from the constant nonsense on Netflix and other channels. Apparently, several other reviewers feel the same way! Yay! I hope Virgin River breaks the current trend and runs for several more seasons. This is a series I enjoy immensely and can recommend highly to my family, friends, and co-workers. I have watched several episodes many times because I love the beautiful chemistry and growing relationship between Mel and Jack. Great job, Netflix and all who are involved in the Virgin River series. 10 Stars!!! BTW, I have never read the books and probably won’t. Thank you. ConnieB
