This started out great. Sam Elliot really pulled this wagon. But then, it lost its way. I'm watching it now, almost through the series. Just about every corny cliche ever employed in the past century of "wild west" films and TV shows has been tossed into this bizarre stew. Some is so sappy I just have to laugh out loud. Taylor Sheridan may have a lot of clout in Hollywood, but his writing leaves more than a lot to be desired...as in "Yellowstone". But its entertaining...my wife likes it. Is it realistic? Nah, not a bit. Enjoy the fun! Just don't take it seriously.
