This drama managed to showcase and romanticise life and love without transporting us to a fantasy land where clichés and cheesy moments are always around the corner. It's the fact that the characters acted realistically and life happened as it would in the real world that really charmed me. Of course our main character would fight for herself against her parents but not choose to run away or show incredible disrespect. Thats how culture and love for her parents has brought her up. Of course our main character wouldn't drop her long term boyfriend the second a handsome young man looks her way. Thats how love and commitment, even dwindling, works. Of course dropping everything and chasing the person (I mean literally) doesn't always result in you catching up to them or finding them in the nick of time. Thats how real life works.
The ending of this drama was achieved by the main characters through hard work, a lot of uncertainty, a lot of tears but determination. Not miracles, not the strings of fate, not because they were made for each other. Isnt that how almost everything in life is achieved?
This drama with its down to earth story and simplicity gave me more hope and joy that a lot of dramas that overdo the romantics and the unbelievable character growths. This is definitely a drama for those looking for something simple and down to earth
