This was really well made, but completely implausible. I understand that, while watching a movie, we are asked to suspend reality a little. But this movie portrays itself as a serious, pragmatic look at a flight to another planet. It is not presented as fantasy. Almost immediately, by some miracle, some ground engineer is discovered, wedged into a space way above floor level, into a space which requires him to be almost folded into. Also, on this X year long trip, he has managed the only piece of equipment, which is both vital, and has no redundancy - or spares. There are many more plot holes, and nonsense, making the whole thing childish and to be honest, insulting to ones intelligence.
Sorry, but for me this movie is treats the audience like ten year old school boys. From the vital, but singular, no spares piece of kit, to the ludicrous space walks, retrieving gas cylinders, it's just complete nonsense. Some of the cinematography and effects are lovely and impressive, but it's all just too implausible to merit attention.
