Metallica's lastest album is quite decent. I liked the songs in this album the more and more I listened. Highlights include 72 Seasons, Screaming Suicide, Shadows Follow, Lux Aeterna and If Darkness Had A Son personally. However, the two the stood out to me the most was You Must Burn, and undoubtedly Sleepwalk My Life Away! These songs have so much energy and make you headbang. Inamorata was a popular one for many fans but I found it a little bit boring and repetitive. The production and overall noise of the album was very tight, clean and heavy (reminiscing of the Black Album), riffs were similar to Load and Hardwired to Self Destruct, and James' vocal performance was outstanding packing a powerful punch. There were only a couple songs I didn't like, it wasn't an album where I liked every song. However, overall, an album that I'm really pleased with and deserves a spot in my top 5 favourite albums of all time!
