I wasted my precious time by watching Haseen Dillruba. The actors were good but the way of love they portrayed in the movie was bad and unbelievable.

This movie came in Netflix Suggestions. Half way through the movie I realized that I have wasted my time watching it but for a closure I had to sit and finish watching the remaining movie. The same scenes are repeated 5-6 times again and again without mercy with a different 10 second twist at the last. This should have been a short film instead.

I wasted my time watching this movie.

I watched the movie only for Rajkumar Rao. The overall movie was pathetic. Very few scenes in the movie where initially Afza sits on the wall and the way she was being searched in the factory was all real good but nothing apart from that.

The film beautifully explained what is going wrong since ages in our Indian society. I was able to relate to every bit of it. The problem is not just with the patriarchal society, it is also the way sons are parented. In most of the houses, sons are taught not to do household work because anyway they will get married to a girl in the future who will do all his chores for him. People say that the solution for this is educating girls but I'd say that it is making not much of a difference. I have friends who became slaves to their husband and their in-laws family after marriage. I'm blessed to have a loving husband who knows how to treat women. He defines the word better half for me and I wish more parents raise their sons to respect women and teach them household chores. Nobody is anybody's slave.
