did not read this book but but I intend to. Just finished Northern Corespondent and was amazed at the similarity to our present time in relation to the world wide epidemics and opposition to their control. I did not realize Mrs. Stubbs was not a modern writer until I read her obit. The parallels in this book I find amazing.I have read the previous books in this series and found the history fascinating since my family came from that area in the 19th century. Looking forward to a good mystery. Hope Dear Laura is it.
