Very hasty plot. It’s quite obvious that they had no plan after The Last Jedi so they just threw in Palpatine. No build up whatsoever, every obstacle seems impossible and then within 5 minutes they are accomplishing what they “thought could never be done”. The subtle romance scenes are super cheesy and unnecessary. An overall bad movie, which hurts because I’ve loved Star Wars all my life.
