The best book I ever read. I would describe it as curious and unique. The book is filled with stories upon stories, circling round each other and then finally connecting. I have never read anything like The Starless Sea. It is a beautiful story with a lot of information and characters, but described and written so beautifully you don't get confused. The amount of imagination this book has is incredible. This book is for readers with a big imagination and for a reader who loves adventure and a hint of romance. The amount of times I cried over this book is unbelievable, not because it is sad but just because of the happy endings and words and metaphors used to describe things. (*note lil spoiler ahead) I only have two critiques: I didn't want it to end. I wanted to stay in the world you created. I wanted to be with the characters and help rebuild the harbour of the Starless Sea and sail it forevermore and read the stories inscribed within the walls. (this isn't even a bad critique) Critique two kinda ties with the first one: I wanted the ending to be longer and described like the rest of the book. Anyway a beautiful book and if u haven't read it yet what are u waiting for? The harbour of the Starless Sea awaits..
