Every production will be different, so you shouldn't expect to see the movie be exactly as you expects. I thought the dancing was amazing, the imagery and color phenomena. The songs Cool and Gee, Officer Krupke to me seemed be a little flat, and America, Maria, and Tonight were great. I was sadden to see that characters Ice, Grazielle, Velma are forgotten, and Anybodys barely gets a nod. Rita Moreno was amazing as Valentina and I loved how they built up Chino's back story. Also, did anyone catch how the girls even though on different sides tried to protect each other as well as Marie making sure she said she was over 18... So overall, 4.5 and I will probably go see it again next week.
