Very moving and I like how it develops into a love story. The thing I'm not impressed about is the so-called "Christian" Mum. With Christians like this, who needs the enemy.. The world doesn't need people who pray over dinner but people who believe in God enough to turn to Him for help. Otherwise, what's the point of having faith in the first place?! Sadly, there are too many "christians" like Josie.
The thing is, there are hundreds of Healing Ministries all over the world: Europe, Mexico, Africa, the US, etc. They even organize huge gatherings where people GET healed (not everybody does but hundreds do).
With the kind of money that his family has, if Lou's Mum had been a real, genuine born-again (not a Christian by name only) she would have dragged Will all over the place to try & get him to meet every bona-fide Christian Healers possible before going to Switzerland.
And guess what? We would have had a VERY different story and one with an amazingly happy ending (and I'd have given it 5 stars instead of 4!).
