SUPERB feel-good show! Lots of friendly characters, solid storylines which tackle serious topics such as illness, grief or marriage issues and lighter topics too. I happen to be a Christian and this series really helped me to reconnect with my faith and God after years of backsliding which I'm very grateful about! But even without being a believer, it is a highly enjoyable series that is child-friendly and talk about values such as kindness, humility, loyalty and generosity - there is nothing wrong in developing these qualities, Christian or not, because the world could definitely use more of that.

MUST-SEE movie! Do NOT let the bad reviews of snobby and out-of-touch film critics (like those of Rotten Tomatoes) influence your decision to watch this film or not: please watch it. The bottom line is, neither Sandra Bullock (who is magnificent in this film) nor Viola Davis would ever play in something that is below average. And you know it. So trust them and trust us, we the little people, who gave this film a whopping 91% thumbs up on Google and a 7/10 on IMDb. It's a captivating film that will have you completely riveted after the first few minutes so resist the urge to fast-forward some moments just to see what's next! Take the time to follow Ruth on her gritty and hazardous redemption walk after being out of prison, see life through her downcast eyes just for a bit, wait patiently for the plot to unfold, for the clouds to dissipate from the blurry memories, for all the characters to emerge one by one and don't give up on her until you see the end. Then you'll get why it is such a poignant, heartbreaking and beautiful film all at once and why it deserves a 5 stars rating (and why Sandra Bullock deserves another Oscar!).

Very moving and I like how it develops into a love story. The thing I'm not impressed about is the so-called "Christian" Mum. With Christians like this, who needs the enemy.. The world doesn't need people who pray over dinner but people who believe in God enough to turn to Him for help. Otherwise, what's the point of having faith in the first place?! Sadly, there are too many "christians" like Josie. The thing is, there are hundreds of Healing Ministries all over the world: Europe, Mexico, Africa, the US, etc. They even organize huge gatherings where people GET healed (not everybody does but hundreds do). With the kind of money that his family has, if Lou's Mum had been a real, genuine born-again (not a Christian by name only) she would have dragged Will all over the place to try & get him to meet every bona-fide Christian Healers possible before going to Switzerland. And guess what? We would have had a VERY different story and one with an amazingly happy ending (and I'd have given it 5 stars instead of 4!).

BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES and a feel-good film! I liked it very much as it's the perfect antidote to a year full of Covid traumas, lockdown dramas, anxious days and sleepless nights. There are some funny moments and the plot is believable as it slowly evolves into a romantic comedy. The characters are warm and loveable, and the chemistry between the two lead actors is convincing. No sex, no gross innuendos, no foul language: a wholesome and lovely film, without any pretention of being anything else. I, for one, don't see anything wrong with that (and couldn't care less about the opinion of some snobby Rotten Tomatoes critics). Recommended for a nice and relaxing viewing with the whole family!

FEEL-GOOD AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY MOVIE perfect to watch over the weekend curled up on the sofa! The storyline revolves around unlucky-in-love Nick who decides to sue a dating agency for false advertising as love isn't guaranteed since he is still single after 1000 dates. Damon is dashing and his character Nick is a sweetheart and a gentleman so he's very enjoyable to watch (just saying!) Yes, the story could have done with a little bit more background info about the leading characters - usually done by involving their respective friends, deep talks betwen them, flashbacks of past events, etc. And it would also have been nice for Susan and Nick to spend more time together to make their chemistry a tiny bit more convincing. That being said, I enjoyed this film because it is drama-free and doesn't try to be anything else than what it is: a feel-good rom-com, with no bad language, no sex, no nudity and no crass jokes (plus I also liked the "Disclaimer" at the end of the movie - fun & cute). Love Guaranteed is a good, clean, family-friendly movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family without ANY awkward moments. And it has a good message: you don't need to jump in bed on the first date or have wild sex with the person you are attracted to in order to fall in love. Sobering but true. Recommended!

Such an enjoyable show! Love the characters, the flashbacks, the strong & beautiful friendship between Kate and Tully and the multiple layers and ups and downs of the storyline. I used to watch Being Erica so it's super nice to see Lenin again (Brandon Jay Mclaren) and as an old fan of Scrubs back in the day it is also a pleasure to see Sarah "Elliot" Chalke in this series, she's super talented and loveable. As for Katherine Heighl she's - surprisingly - pretty convincing as a messed-up-but-likeable Tully! Some topics are quite deep so I wish that they were explored a bit more & I'm not a big fan of drugs use, wild sex and such (I'm a Christian). That being said, nobody is perfect & dysfunction do happen in life and families so some stories need to be told just so people can be more understanding (and kinder) towards one another. Again, really like this show - it took me by surprise as I didn't think I would enjoy it so much. Recommended!

Can't get enough of this series - absolutely love it! Once Upon A Time is witty, dark and lovely all at once. And visually stunning (decors, visual effects and costumes). It is full of great characters, storylines, romance, action and beautiful landscapes - plus Captain Hook is SO handsome that it hurts! I also love how they always start each episode with a different background right at the beginning (depending on the character the episode is based upon). So happy to have found it on Netflix - I'm a new subscriber because of this show alone- as I can catch up with all the episodes I missed while it was on TV. Watch it, you won't regret it!

I heard of Annie a lot but never wanted to watch the older film. But I came across this 2014 version on TV and was hooked from the start: loved it! It was nice to see so much diversity in the film and I liked the modern twist they put on it - high tech house, mobiles phones, social media, etc. The only thing that I'm not super enthusiastic about is the way they have portrayed the main character of Annie : they could have make her more polite, kinder and much more likeable even if she is street-wise. It's not the fault of the young actress herself, but the director gave us a cliche of a little black girl (in a negative way) which is a pity because Quvenzane may be perceived as being like that even if she's a real sweetheart in real life. Yes, it's called "acting" but there is a reason why so many actors are pigeon-holed their whole careers as playing villains, arrogant characters, etc. Apart from that, I loved this film and watched it twice already!

Lovely and feel-good film. Romantic, sweet and full of goodness - love it! I wish more people were like this: generous and kind, while keeping their promises - no matter what.
