I have just watched this film for the second time. It was a fascinating look into the struggles and torment of men that have made history but are rarely ever looked into more deeply. I could actually feel the fear of getting shot and having life snuffed out. All of the characters became real to me as the movie developed. The music by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis eerily added to the already tense scenes. This is a way overlooked film!
