Halo infinite brought the days of Halo 3 and Reach back. As for those who are excited about another free game, it's not perfect in the sense of it being a Halo game. For example, in Halo Reach, you gained XP for doing all kinds of things like getting triple kills. Also, the XP progression is a bit better after they made it to where people can level up a day if they play a few matches, but that is where things become a pickle. I'm close to LVL 50, and yes I have paid for the battle pass since I want to customize my spartan in armor from Reach, but do you know how many armor pieces I have obtained for the base armor you get? Literally a chest piece and a helmet, I'm about to unlock the pauldrons but what is insane about it is the fact you have to grind if you want to show off the gear for the main armor set. Yes, I have bought additional pieces of gear from the store as some of it was nostalgic enough for me to buy it. For example, there is a little bear you can buy that attaches to your chest piece and this is from one of the Halo animations, literally the only thing I wear and you know how much I paid for it? $15 dollars plus tax, I may have received a charm to put on one of the weapons in the game but I have yet to determine which weapon I want to put the charm on. The other thing is the fact that the multiplayer during the so-called "Beta, or early release" of the multiplayer is exactly the same thing before the launch. Quite literally there isn't much new unless you want to fork over $15 to $20 for a few armor pieces and some decals. I will still be playing the game however as this is quite likely to be the first Halo game to have DLC, and the multiplayer's gameplay is really good. If you disagree with what I have to say, obviously you've only seen Chief as Mr.Halo from Fortnite, or your that gay guy who wears a Faze clan skin. Jk, but on a serious note, if you really disagree you better have some experience with the series. From my observation, a lot of people are coming to Halo infinite which is good, but a lot of them don't understand where so many people come from when critiquing this game. Halo is a series that will hopefully be brought back to the mainstream as a competitive shooter with a story along with it that is impressive on its own.
