As an 80s kid the much anticipated release of the continuation of the He-Man franchise was not as I had expected.
The push for it and he hype that it came with, didn't do the show any justice whatsoever.
At best it was flat and to quote a great line from another but better made 80s franchise the transformers.. " I don't like cheap knock offs " .
The new adventures of He - Man was how the new masters of the universe came across and lacked the originals quality, story telling and panache.
It was like comparing transformers to the go bots ... all hype n now substance.
