This movie has a ridiculous scene 55 mins in where the lead is shown a secret hiding place in the floor of the cabin. “I used to hide here when I was a kid”. Yet you can’t get into the secret hiding place without moving a few kitchen chairs and the big kitchen table, then the rug. Once you go in and close the door, the rug and furniture are sprawled out around the room, because, duh, you can’t put them back to cover up the door in the floor because you are under the floor. Completely ridiculous. How did no one, not one person, including the woman who wrote the book, or anyone making this movie, realize this?
