It's like Cloud Atlas having tea with Deadpool. It can feel extremely overwhelming but the story is so simple that it is just a ride that you have to experience. Admittedly, the story is almost too simple. You will feel the need for the movie to end or feel like it is almost ending but you are only half way. I never feel the need to see a movie in the theater, but this one can only be enjoyed with a crowd.

Things to ponder (spoilers included) Mother is a schizophrenic who apparently neglected and abused her child in his infancy. Has a perfectly normal relationship with her son (the Joker). Joker's disorder is laughing when he feels like crying. So if we are to believe that this is suppose to follow the cartoon style Joker (or any joker for that matter) he is actually crying, not laughing? The dark humor in the movie was the Joker cry/laughing in different scenes.
