It is very underrated and really ahead of it's time. Compared to the music of today, ARTPOP is very similar. Agreeing to the critiques, the album really was too ambitious. The people before was not ready for it, but it is certainly an underrated and amazing record by Gaga. It was just popularized as a "flop" by those who hate her or her music or the album itself.
