okay, so- I have mixed feelings about this. But I think people are hating a bit too hard, does it make me laugh out loud? No, but there are moments i grin, kind of like the same humor level of disenchantment. I like Mindy and her stuff, I enjoy scooby doo nastolgia. I’ll gladly watch these characters do whatever. I’m not trying to dig deep and look for anything in this, it’s just nice to watch an adult version of my childhood- even if its messy n kinda stupid lol

i love this show so much, when it came out during the pandemic i was hooked on the concept. read the entire manga and season 2 is very true to it. Sad that it ends after 2 seasons- also - some people might have an issue with the ending, it’s not my favorite but I understand it also was a way to wrap it up entirely/easily, kind of wish it was different tho.

All the characters are great and quirks they do are really funny and an original twist on the movie it derived from.

so bad whyyyy didn’t they cast some real actors and write a decent script. sometimes it was so cringe my body created a violent physical response

I think this movie is highly criticized by people who didn’t watch the movie and frankly are stupid. Yes this movie has scenes that are uncomfortable to watch-particularly the dancing scene at the end. But what this movie grasps is the reality around us today in the form of a cultural coming of age film. I can’t speak to everyone’s experience but today I am a 23 year old girl from california, and I can say that this film captured what my middle school brain was thinking also, at that age you see adults and you want to be that, we all wanted to be hot and “sexy” even though we were still children we would go to the mall and buy victoria’s secret and that was then so I can’t begin to imagine the experiences of tween girls in this age- being online with social media. What this movie did was comment on how troubling this can be and more- i’m done with this rant but these people need to chill out and they’re the ones specializing the bodies children

first season is eh but the 2nd and 3rd are mind boggling and incredible, I just finished and it’s all I can think about.
