Masterpiece… don’t think so. Far too many episodes, and flashbacks I get it but once again too many. As for the book to film not a true reflection, a lot of me going … What??? I’m not an actor but the Ms Chalke’s goofy laugh and constant woe is me attitude drove me crazy.

Stunningly told. It touches your feel good emotions, at the same time balancing the humour and the dark side too. The whale aspect is perfectly weaved into the story telling. I love the swimming whales 🐋. The acting is lovely.
