I like weird but this movie is not good weird. It just felt off from the get go. Just felt forced and cheap? I love Pratt but he kind of phoned it in? Probably not his fault, more on director and budget. And I thought Brown was the Mom in the opening scene lol! She just did not feel age appropriate for role and I grew up in the 70s and 80s where this happened all the time yet somehow worked.

Has zero the gravity of the first. I was fast forwarding in the first 20 minutes. No charachters did anything for me. Just feels like a CGI world too. The first movie's world felt tangible and real, as did the characters. Just turned it off. Freaking terrible.

How can anyone watch this movie and think it is remotely related to the original Rod Serling Planet of the Apes? The original was other worldly, spooky and unsettling. It just made your imagination go into overdrive and blew your mind. This is nothing more than a modern day CGI spectacle that is just so typical of today.

I gotta say, the vintage original soundtrack actually gives this movie an old school movie vibe. Even his partner acts like he's in an 80s role. Kinda trippy

Whoever gives this movie a positive review is a true ignoramus when it comes to film, especially the Matrix films. Sooooo forced and ridiculous. There is more Matrix in Carrie Ann Moss's initial appearance scene than this entire movie. It's similar to the last SW trilogy, completely devoid of all the magic and mystique of the originals. Tried watching twice. Turned it off both times. I think people, especially younger ones, are just desperate to have something special and truly great come around again. Its like they try and will these things to be good by talking positively about them.

I just started watching it. Pretty bad. Zero chemistry. I like him as an actor but she just doesn't have it. And let's face it, romcoms just can't be made anymore. For whatever reason they just don't have that magic like back in the day. Its like Hollywood can only make great serious biopics and great series these days.

It's ok so far. The bar owner is an obvious DEI casting. She stinks. Horrible line delivery and just not believable. Still gonna finish it.

Whoa! Super tedious and annoying. Can't even see a kid from todays dumb kid culture liking it.

A really, really good movie. Only a simpleton wouldn't like it.
