Kirk Gollwitzer

As a documentary filmmaker and speaking for the Tryon International Film Festival, I can say that this film is brilliantly done. I love the way this was stitched together with multiple interviews, historical footage, and silent acting. This is a must-see.

I thought I was really going to like this film but was sadly disappointed. Pacing was bad, story structure was poor, character development was flawed, etc. Why would a man who was beaten up one day, carry the blood in his beard for days and days? Why would a character who lives the life of a recluse step out of the woods with such a clear mind? Way too many disjointed concepts? Poor direction.
