I didn't like it.
I felt the characters were poorly drawn and very one note, with little to no inner life. If there was subtlety here it bored me and the episodic nature of the film didn't help.
My favorite character was the cat, whose finely-etched plea for a home and attention was the most penetrating and courageous performance in the movie.
