Let me start by saying I am a huge Dan Brown fan and until now have never been disappointed with his work. While the flip flopping from present to the 1300s provided answers and intrigue, the scientific explanations were beyond what I could comprehend. Robert Langdon has been turned into part Superman, part Einstein, and mostly James Bond which is annoying and I feel there is some deep hatred of the church that was overdone.

An excellent read with more twists and turns than should be allowed. No questions are left unanswered. A little too super hero like in the end but a fine book. If you are not careful, you may even learn a little history.

Had a lot of potential but the characters were so typical. The handsome US Marshall, the eccentric but of course lovely Luna, the beautiful and talented African woman etc etc. No issues, no demons, no warts. Just pick them out of a hat. Did not need to know the diet and watering holes of the rich and famous. Again, it had potential but just drug on to a ho hum ending

It may be the most boring book I have ever read. My first introduction to JD Robb. Maybe I just got a bad one. It just drags and drags with the characters being the same old beautiful women with their charming and perfect mates. Why is this in the 2030s. It adds nothing.
