The neckbeards are voting this show down. The original is 25 years old. Time to grow up. This show is fantastic. It’s super fun. I love the original, it’s my favorite anime of all time. This is close to the original, just extra story, timeline is slightly altered, and it features more humor. 5th Element style humor. Shakir absolutely nails Jett Black, I mean it’s crazy, even the voice. It’s worth everyone’s time to watch this show. I’m thrilled and humbled that it exists. I’ll be rewatching.
