I was disappointed that the movie was only focused on the difficult/tragic aspects of his life. While it was inspirational to see him get help and clean up, there was a lot of positive moments that were left out, such as his time living clean, being knighted and all his great musical successes. The release of Yellow Brick Road was never even mentioned. Bohemian Rhapsody was better balanced, e.g. the lows of an AIDS diagnosis vs the Live Aid performance. Well acted and creative though.
I also didn’t care for the scenes where it was like a musical with songs that were out of order chronologically.
