If they took the f-bomb out of Applegate's dialogue, a 2-year-old would be able to memorize her part in half hour. The amount of times this was used was senseless and beyond irritating. She really had few lines left if the language was cleaned up. I had to stop watching midway through season 2. Her never-ending anger, hateful nature, nonstop cursing and her treatment of her sons and only friend was disgusting. Wish I could give this less than one star.

I wish I could give this less than 1 star. The only redeeming things in this movie are the animals. They all out-perform every actor in this, including Ms. Crawford. Those saying it was good for the time it was made (1967) must have only seen this one movie in that time frame. I can think of many excellent movies that year, such as Barefoot in the Park, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Valley of the Dolls, The Graduate, and Cool Hand Luke to name but a few. The difference is, the actors in those movies had talent. Normally, I'm a Joan Crawford fan, but nothing was worth watching other than the scenes with the lions, horses, dogs, and elephants. Do yourself a favor and if you want to watch an old movie, avoid this one like the plague!

I just lost 116 minutes of my life. This was very close to the worst movie I've ever seen. I'm sure there was a plot in there somewhere, but it got lost in the dull, boring, dragging non-action and characters you spent more time trying to figure out from the beginning to the end. If I had to give one word of advice to someone about to watch this, it would simply be "RUN".
