We just saw it this afternoon and were overwhelmed by the attention to detail and the obvious serious research presented in
such an intimate, revealing way. The teens who thought it would be a lark and survived came away with the weight of humanity on their shoulders. No one should have to experience what they did and yet we continue.....My great uncle and one of his siblings were in this war. This did not deter my father from signing up with 50 other
young men two days after Pearl Harbor. Changed forever by their experiences it never seems to be enough to renounce the weapons of destruction.
