the red queen

So I watched this movie with my younger sister thinking it was going to super childish but also fun. I wanted to watch a new Halloween movie with a dark skinned black girl as the lead. I did not come in expecting the movie to be as good as it was. Since it is a children's movie it's not on the super scary side of horror, but it is definitely fun and entertaining. I found the acting to be pleasant, it didn't feel awkward or forced it seamed like they were enjoying being in the film as much as we were enjoying watching the film. I love the whole aspect of monster hunting and I like the monsters (the cat lady especially). I even thought the little jokes were funny. The graphics were also good. Overall it was an anjoyable experience watching this movie. I recommend it for anyone who wants to bond with a younger relative it gave my sister and I some stuff to talk about afterwards.
