I was keen to see The Drovers Wife. The scenery is lovely and great to see a story in eighteenth century Australia that centres on the experience of a woman in the outback. Life was tough and expremely risky and this comes across but there were weaknesses with some of the characters and the storyline particularly towards the end. Overall I was disappointed but look forward to more stories along these lines. Wishing all the best for lea Purcell's continuing career.

I very much enjoyed the series. The storyline cleverly touches on but is different to the original. The characters are wonderfully preserved and depicted and there is plenty of drama - definitygive it a go.
