Miles Morales is probably one of the more glorious games of this day and age. Every single thing the original Spider-Man missed was presented in this game. There are so many details from the precision and accuracy of the swings, to snowfall hitting and melting onto the suit, to the impressive details on sound and wind dynamics, and my favorite, the mechanics. The story is simple, linear, and there are not as many side quests, missions, and extras than the original, but it is enough to keep you along the 12 hour ride. The game is super easy in my opinion, even in the hardest difficulty because of the fluidity of the titular character and AI. MY only downfall is the lack of good suit upgrades, limitations on finishers, lack of variety in fighting combos, and lack of bosses. It is like possible three or four, not including the bonus boys after completing certain missions. But having intense diverse characters such as those with disabilities, LGBTQ+, and Black and Latino characters take the big screen in such a packed game paves way to what we should have gotten years ago! Overall I give it a 5 star!
