It was very hard to hold my attention. The descriptions of everything drag on. How many chapters do we need about worrying about the siblings ? How many ways can you describe literally everything? The path, the commitments. I can not even form a picture of these characters nor a desire to know what happens. I could not connect to them at all. What is it about ? A goblin king underground and a women with a brother and sister....music ... she marrys him. Any women who did not make it through the forever changing maze to escape the underground turns into a tree. This was a book club selection so I choked it down on audible.
