The movie was very wholesome and straight to the point. I understand why others are a bit disappointed considering there were many characters in the book that didn't make it into the movie (June, Cash, Rafael Luna, Leo, etc.), and yes. It felt a bit rushed for me. But we got to understand that this was almost a 2-hour movie; if there were more characters and if they didn't cut some scenes, it would simply be too long. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic movie! It was everything I imagined when I was reading the book. I also loved how they really focused on Henry and Alex! As for the chemistry, it was top-notch! I can literally see the eyes of someone in love when I look at the both of them! Just a great overall adaptation of a great book! Love it! ❤️🤍💙

I was gonna give this a 5 but in the end it was so dissapointing Chen changsheng is not the real son of emperor taizong and he was not declared the new emperor
