This is an essential, well written and timely book about the consequences of our consumer economy. Told as a story with lots of details we can all recognize, Katz 's Side Effects is a wake-up call to all of us to make conscious choices to stop poisoning our environment and ourselves. I found this book sobering and thought provoking - I highly recommend it.
