If people are giving us low Stars they need to watch it a few times, there are so many cross references and the fact that it is a continuation but not a continuation, it is a civil war but not a civil war, it is Morpheus but it is not Morpheus, the movie is playing in the background from the first one and they have the furniture from the old set trying to remind him of who he was, Neo isn't Neo but he is Neo, we live in a vicious cycle of heartbreak pain, love and joy, everything that you feel we do in an endless cycle over and over again, and we are afraid of change, people try to stay where they're comfortable, and we can be talking to things pretty easily and believe things that just are not rational, and then the Love story base on the whole movie with Trinity and the two of them needing to be together to actually make a huge difference, is how they defeated the machines in the first place and it isn't 20 years later it's 60 years later which makes a huge difference, but yet it's still only 20 years later, everything is in conflict with each other everything is the game or the movie running the entire time that this movie is going on which is actually a memory and not the game or a movie, people on the machine world got comfortable and they are scared of change iob is one of them, just an absolute layer upon layer upon layer of Easter eggs and even the names of the machines themselves the symbiance instead of the machines, who he talked to at the very end and gave his life to the machines which weren't actually in the machines they were called simeon's, and they're now working together with people in the real world and just the fact that they have Trinity and Neil together but separated because of the danger that they can cause and their strength and love together is phenomenal, I'm not a love story to have a guy and this really isn't a love story The action is excellent and the effects are in line with the first Matrix much better than the other two James Cameron looking type Avatar Fighting machines and different things the war is much more creative in the ships are much better in the real world, and truly the whole story is about keeping two apart which in real life just like Neo he doesn't believe he's the one and we don't feel like we are one or whole until sometimes we meet somebody else to fill that hole and then to become one. It's too hard to explain it you just need to watch it and the lower ratings are just people that either expected too much or just never watch the first series of movies and to understand what was really going on you have to watch you should watch the trilogy but you have to watch number one at least and then watch one of the two stories that were put out in theaters being decided on and the one that was released for blu-ray right now is phenomenal and I think that's the one that they finally went with in theaters but they are two technically different stories in many ways, just amazing not a director's cut versus theatrical cut but just a different story but the same. Enjoy it watch it and support Warner Brothers in this so they continue to be able to make movies like this
