I love MJB and her music! She’s good at what she do and she loves it. I love the fact that it fits her aura, and personality!
I do like the fact that this movie focuses and concentrates on the worldly problems of racism, police brutality and the tribulations of what a black mother goes through constantly. Having to loose their son that means the most to them. Then seeing their spirit as they move on to the light.
However, I wanna give a good rating but whoever directed it, MJB seemed like she didn’t wanna do this movie. I can tell she’s the type to get a role with emotions and character. There’s no plot, no suspense, no climax, or a mere ending. Holledge has no dialogue or any character. You see the sargeant dead with a bullet hole to the head but appears to be alive at court. I can see making horror movies are really hard to do, damn that’s like 1 hr and 37 mins I can never get back. 😔
