Rocketman is among the best musical film I ever seen, if not the best. The way this film was skillfully done, from the script to the production to the musical arrangement, obviously spun the expertise of the people behind this genius.
Every scene was well-thought, detail-oriented, and catchy, especially the transitional "Rocketman" scene. For me, the best in this film.
Taron Egerton an organic, pure, and energetic actor. And will always be. Thanks to this film he is now in line among the best acts in the industry. His singing, too, with range and passion, proved so much versatility with this portrayal.
Also, the powerhouse cast helped Egerton achieve the supposed atmosphere of the film. They complemented Egerton so well that all the details of EJ's life became more appreciated. EJ's struggles and milestones during his musical career and private life were valued with artistry that every fan of musicals, just like the Bohemian Rhapsody, would be hooked to the core.
If I were a real critic, I would give this film 9.8/10.
