The ‘90’s MTV era style of unsubtle associated imagery is phenomenally irritating and distracting…obviously to try and add excitement to a weak script and poorly told rehash of the far superior “dopesick” staring Michael Keaton which predates this by at least 12 months. I’ve no idea why they made this already well told story. I’d avoid this and watch the above mentioned “dopesick” series or watch a real documentary on YouTube of the subject. For such a serious subject this show sometimes feels like a slapstick comedy….which belongs nowhere near the story of death and misery of the opioid plague unleashed by these cretins. Avoid this mess.

Really enjoyed it…I’m the king of switching off dumb movies after 20-30 mins if I feel like they’re lowering my intelligence as I’m watching them but I was really surprised by this.I had loads of laugh out loud moments,again really surprised.You should give it a chance.

Went to see this in a 4DX cinema and what an EPIC experience! Anyone new to the film will enjoy it but anyone who was around for the phenomenon of the original like myself will enjoy the full, unashamedly cliched predictable nostalgia fest that this is.It hits every emotion, stirs up passion and even had me cheering and fist pumping in my seat…my wife had to restrain me from volunteering for the US navy post movie.Check it out in the best way possible and don’t waste this great experience by watching it on your TV.

This just didn’t work for me.I’ve always liked the darker side of superhero movies.Batman begins was fantastic.”Have you seen my mask?” Delivered in a super creepy calm way from Cillian Murphy will always haunt me but all through “The Batman” I was just thinking it’s like some terrible SNL sketch. Gordan as the cliched weather beaten cop,all the other cops as cliched bullies.Paul Dano playing the character that Paul Dano always plays,the disaffected loner creep.There was a particularly bizarre and poor scene where Dano is manically singing some stupid song while Batman over reacts.The whole thing just seemed like Batman movie join the dots…seen it all before but better…topped off with Pattinson as the moody emo Batman.Maybe this movie was made for a different generation,who knows but the ONLY saving grace was Colin Farrell as the penguin,fantastic performance,everything else was over the top melodramatic nonsense.

So bad it’s good…only 2 stars good though! I like the style but the Ham acting and silly accents is ATROCIOUS…it’s like a really poor spoof mocumentary. Painfully slow,poor direction,terrible dialogue….but ultimately just about watchable.

Interesting and entertaining film.Eerie,the whole thing leaves you feeling a bit weird but it’s a good plot and something different.

Brilliant…really enjoyed it.Beought me right back into the Dexter world,good script,characters and actors.
