The decided disadvantage of being a real critic is that one must decide in advance that they know in some concrete way what constitutes a good movie. Such a person does not want to have their feelings quickly or cheaply manipulated by the filmmakers tricks of the trade or a cliched plot. Hence, a critic can't love this movie! Fortunately, people who want a predictable sentimental moralistic move are not so easily disappointed by having their sense of decency confirmed. This is a good time to have pity on the poor critic.
