I loved this show! Thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Vincent Vaughan is a total star as Yancy, a great character that surely has a lot of potential for further series. His non stop quirky banter is very funny. Great cast, killer script, great setting , all very enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this film starring a very thin and quite old looking Tom Hanks. He looks more like JK Simmons now. The story is one of a man's frustration at the world partly built on personal tragedy. It speaks highly of the value of friendship and the kindness of strangers. Great cast including Truman Hanks (Tom's son) playing the Young Otto. MarianaTreviño is superb as his young Mexican neighbour, Marisol. Overall uplifting, redemptive , funny and poignant. Go see.

Superbly written tense drama. Also brilliant cast including two Game of Thrones alumni, Rose Leslie and Stephen Dillane. There are no slack moments, no filler, just solid exciting plot that will set your mind buzzing as to what's going on. It's not one of those dramas where you can see what's coming, you definitely can't. Whatever it is, I can hardly wait.

'Soul' is another masterpiece of animation and story telling from Pixar. Basically the story of Jo, a school music teacher who longs for his moment in the spotlight, but the film shows us in a wonderful way to be careful what we wish for. The story is one of great depth, covering huge philosophical issues of life , death and reason for being. It's funny, beautiful and has great performances from the voice cast and the fantastic musicians who perform the jazz that fills the soundtrack. Its Jamie Foxx's voice that brings Jo to life and Jon Batiste's fingers that play the piano. The whole thing is marvellous and stays with you in the best way possible. Go see.

Utterly dreadful film. Seriously, don't waste 2 hours of your life. In essence , a guy is trying to get across America to rescue his girlfriend who's caught up in some unknown apocalyptic event. He is stopped every few miles by angry crazy people with guns. That's about it, don't go there.

I have just finished watching this excellent season. Even if you've no interest in the game of chess, you'll thoroughly enjoy it. Its a great story (not true, but based on an assemblage of true events) very well written and acted. The writing is never cliched and reminded me of Mad Men in its faithful recreation of the 1960s. It's superbly cast with Anya Taylor Joy, magnetically watchable as the complicated, beautiful and brilliant Beth Harmon. All the supporting cast were excellent. I cheered and shed a tear at the end, I will miss it. An unexpected gem from Netflix.

At the outset of Wandavision, I found the going a little slow, too much cheesy 60s pastiche tv. But knowing how smart the MCU are, I knew that patience would bear fruit. You already know that something strange is going on, but where is it going? Layers are gradually peeled away with the real world just outside the force field created by Ms Maximoff. There are villains outside and inside the perfect American Town of West view, which in reality is dying like so much of small town USA. I loved this show, smart writing, great cast and visuals. And in the end , I felt it was basically a love story, a dream of utopia that ultimately collapses. But as in all of the MCU, there's a little tail piece that tantalises you with a glimpse of what might follow....

Saw this last night. A pretty shocking story very well told. A well written and un-cliched script and great performances from the excellent cast. Keira Knightley on great form as Katherine Gunn and Ralph Fiennes excellent in a very understated performance as her lawyer. The whole cast did sterling work, Conleth Hill, Rhys Ifans, Indira Varma to name but a few played their real life characters superbly. All in all, a good history lesson in not always believing what politicians tell you.

Extraordinary piece of cinema! Denis Villeneuve has created a majestic and colossal film of the massive Frank Herbert tome. It's beautiful throughout with the most fantastic visuals. The interiors feel like Morocco in around 1000 years time, and all the exterior shots feel vast and very real. It's quite an allegorical film about power, politics , oppression and money. You could make many comparisons to various places in the middle east. The cast are all superb and the script is never clichéd. I can't wait for part 2 of this epic saga.

A dreamlike, surreal and mystical film of exquisite beauty that I can't really explain and I don't fully comprehend. The gorgeous visuals and wondrous other wordly soundtrack will leave you spellbound. I've never seen a film like this, simply wonderful . Dev Patel , Alicia Vikander et al just marvellous
