Wonderful book about life in Scandinavia, before, during, and after WWII. Very interesting and personal stories of those who survived the horrors of WWII and were rescued by fellow citizens in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
I loved the collection of stories written about people who were interviewed for the film "Passage To Sweden." I also loved the personal experiences of author, Chana Sharfstein, who grew up in Sweden and had a beautiful childhood despite being an orthodox jewish girl living in Europe during WWII.
