Skill based matchmaking is a joke. If you play somewhat well expect to have one or two good matches before being thrown onto a team that Infinity Ward expects you alone to carry. And pray you don't get matched against a party/squad that did well from the beginning of their session. Great campaign but the multiplayer matchmaking heavily encourages solo players that do well to not play. A great example of skill based matchmaking not working would be the YouTuber ImMarksman. He uploads content regularly with him being placed with teams that are failing miserably and having to basically win games for them alone. Decent game. Wish Infinity Ward devs listened to their audience more about how flawed their matchmaking system really is
