I was in Hay, the book town, looking for a book to read & spotted this. It seemed to be an historical mystery with mystical overtones. Quite appropriate. Now 130 pages in I still have no idea what it is supposed to be about. A body has been found in a river. Clearly not very important as so far we have learned little about it. Up to now I have read the ramblings of a few disparate characters who seem to have nothing to do with the body & certainly no connection with ancient mysticisms. This boring lump is destined for the charity shop tomorrow.
