In spite of the fact that Mr Vogel is not very left-leaning in his political opinion, he has remained very truthful in his narration all through.
The book is remarkably informative. Has cleared a lot of misinformation and false ideas I had about China and CPC, both positive and negative. Very useful to understand the recent history of China and it's modernisation.
