Its a one time watch. Don't go with very high expectations. Story was good but there was something off about the execution. Characters were Indian, language was Indian but somehow the show never felt very Indian to me. I guess the dialogues were first written in English and then translated to Hindi to give it a desi touch. Acting of the lead actors was fine but the supporting cast was really bad. Ex - I could never believe a single word that the maulvi said, he sounded very unnatural. The show was not at all scary but I was hooked because I really wanted to know how it all ends. I liked that unlike typical bolywood films, this series didn't try to thrust unnecessary patriotism down our throats. That may be because Netflix does not have to fear about theatre-burning and goon protests, that are new normal in the country.
