Just mediocre. Adrienne Arsenault and Andrew Cheng both need help speaking. Elocution training would be in order. They seem to have forgotten that the subject of a sentence has to continue until the end of the sentence.... and not dropped in the middle or even near the end of the sentence. Much of what they are trying to convey is lost unless one knows the context of the sentence and can figure out the part that has been dropped. I am very surprised that the CBC administration has not made a move to correct this problem.
A good example of what I am talking about is the difference between Adrienne Arsenault and Susan Ormiston. A couple of nights ago they were each on a divided screen at the same time. It is night and day between listening to each of them. Both are senior journalists and there is no problem whatsoever in understanding Susan's message.
The commercials get worse (longer) toward the end of the program making me turn it off before the 'moment'.
