The Doctor lives on. Still quirky and kind and badass as always. Ever since Twelve's speech about still being the same person but Clara not being able to recognise him, I was sold to the Doctor for life. So, brunette with great hair, cute with no eyebrows, grey haired and feisty... none of it matters. The Doctor is the Doctor no matter what. I have mixed feelings about her "dark side" disappearing but she's a new incarnation. Maybe she's working up to it. Maybe this is her personality. Either way, I don't really mind.
I do have a few notes here and there on the series (depth, script, character arcs etc.) For example, at this point, if Ryan and Yas end up together I will be kind of upset with how much they've denied it - it feels intensely cliché and I think the writing is heading there so... let's hope they get creative instead of forcing the characters together for views. Also, the story always seems just shy of brilliant. It's good and it's had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times, I can't complain (and I've watched every episode so far) but it could definitely be better.
I'm happy with what they've done mostly, and a little worried one of the companions might die. But I'm not unhappy. Here's to hoping!
