Finest acting in a Star Wars film since empire strikes back, the force is mystical again and it exchanges fan service for real, actual story telling. A little ponderous in places due to the length, but immensely satisfying as a piece of pop cinema with deeper themes. The Kylo/Rey/Luke stuff is the best and this movie finally delves into how not everything is black and white in the star wars universe, much to the disappointment of 'fans' who want star wars to be simplistic and devoid of actual fun. A contender for best in all of the saga, even among the originals.
