Meh. Michael C. Hall is doing his best to bring us Dexter, but the writers aren’t helping. Cop girlfriend?…uh, no. Let Dex delve deeper, evolve. Give up the campy line dancing and consider where his mind would truly lie at the close of the first series. And for God’s sake, Deb again?! This character added nothing the first time around, except overuse of redundant profanity. Again, I blame the writers. They destroyed her role in the first season. Give the woman some depth for God’s sake. Better yet, let the actors write the script. I’m quite certain they would do a better job.
