It's a beautiful movie of a camaraderie of two mischievous souls for their mutual love for cinema, once again proving age is never a bar. The story builds over a projectionist (Alfredo) of a village entertainment center called "Cinema Paradiso" and a sweet young boy (Toto/Salvatore). They complemented each other for one's lack of his father and the other's of his son. Eventually Alfredo becomes a friend, philosopher and guide and made Toto to become Salvatore, and made him move on in the course of life.
But the story is about the beautiful art of letting go and a bittersweet pain in it. It is a story of leaving without shedding a teardrop but rather tucking it away in a secret place for memory to make it more worthy while reminiscing. The story flowed like a poem not having a sad or a happy ending but to watch it once more not letting you go. Legendary Ennio morricone's magical background score and Tornatore's direction made this a masterpiece.. This cinema is made with love for the love of cinema for those who love cinema.
P.s : Kids please DO NOT watch it with parents and vice versa. It does have some adult content.
