I am not quite happy with the second season of The Politician. I had become obsessed with the first season. The characters, their quirks, the story, everything was so engaging. However the second season had a number of low points. It felt repetitive. The character arcs didn't quite move ahead from the first season. Payton's moral compass and his issues were already dealt with in the first season, but they brought back the same conflict again, so nothing new there. I didn't quite understand Alice's actions this time. Her purpose was so unclear throughout the season and quite abrupt. Also what's up with Astrid this time? One of the major question I had about this season was how is Payton funding his campaign? How can Astrid aford such fancy clothes and gyms if she has given up everything she had. The subplots in season 2 are very abrupt and the overall writing also seems inconsistent. Hence it felt very dry and forced. The political issues were all so superficially dealt with. I was expecting more depth in it like they did in season one. Having said that, season 2 is not a complete bummer. It has some really good moments and episodes. I liked that they introduced us to the vulnerable side of Mcafee and James. I just hope if there's a season 3, they bring back the quirks and we get to see more of Infinity, her grandma, Payton's mother and her life as well.

Hollywood is empowering, hopeful and heart-breakingly beautiful!

A very interesting concept, but an extremely weak script. The jokes seem deliberate & immature. "Do chai bol" "chai!" or "Manual de" "bhai Manuel toh aaj chutti par hai" That's the level of jokes and they ain't even funny . The film is overly dramatic in a realistic set up. The only thing that holds everything together are the actors - Mithila, Abhay & Vijay Raaz & the background score.

Badla is a disappointment for film viewers. It takes you on a ride in the first half of the film, but then comes the 'supposed to be pivotal point' of the film - Amrita Singh's entry which just takes you back and I couldn't resist but disengage myself from the film. The dialogues and character chemistry seem quite amateurish which wasn't expected from the makers of the Kahaani franchise. The climax is extremely random and again, disappointing.

Made in Heaven is not just a series that addresses the obsession for social perception but also very smoothly plays with and around it, making the series engaging and if I may, somewhat insane. Special mention of Arjun Mathur's character which is the lead character and happens to be gay and they address his sexuality very efficiently without drifting away from the main narrative.
